Since moving to the Sunshine Coast in 2015 and becoming a full-time artist shortly thereafter, Bronwyn’s work has been deeply influenced by her surroundings. Living on a bush acreage property, she finds inspiration in the landscape, aiming to capture not just the trees and plants but also the spaces in between - encouraging viewers to look deeper into what lies beyond.

Bronwyn has a particular affinity for still life, often featuring pots and unique vessels in her paintings. Her goal is to give these everyday objects a sense of life and personality, employing the same layering process that informs her other work.

Bronwyn dedicated several years to mastering printmaking techniques and exploring mosaics, both of which have shaped her painting style.
Attending life drawing classes has also played a crucial role, giving her the confidence to engage with her work in new ways, whether by drawing back into the paint or using unconventional tools to reveal underlying layers.
