With Wipeout, I wanted to capture the powerful energy of the ocean, that sense of being right in the waves as they crash and swirl around you. I focused on layering shades of blue and sand to bring out the movement and raw beauty of water meeting shore. This piece invites you to feel the ocean's pulse and the quiet strength of the coast.

Anne-Maree Wise is a Melbourne-based artist whose lifelong dedication to creativity began with drawing as a child and oil painting lessons at the age of 12. With a Bachelor of Art majoring in Painting and Drawing, Anne-Maree has over 30 years’ experience in the arts, balancing a dynamic studio practice with a career teaching art in a secondary school.
